Pam Spelling
I am the Chairperson of the IAT committee of management & have been on the committee since September 2003. I am passionate about social justice & the protection of human rights for all, particularly the most vulnerable people with disabilities.
I have been living in Townsville since 2002 & previously lived in Victoria. Since 1984 I have been involved with social justice activities in both paid & unpaid roles.
My passion stems from a deep connection to people’s humanity, which I’m certain has been realized due to my own personal life experiences of growing up with degenerating physical disabilities & vision loss as a child.
I feel blessed that I can contribute to the advocacy efforts of IAT through my governance role.
